Getting started
Fill and send an envelope
Filling it
The app asks for five things: the stock, the amount in dollars, the occasion, a note of up to 240 characters, and the names that go on the card. The preview on the right is the envelope exactly as it will open.
The note, the occasion and the names are encrypted in your browser with a key derived from the link before anything is sent. On chain, an envelope shows only an amount, a stock and a block of ciphertext.
One transaction
Sealing asks your wallet for a USDG permit, a signature that lets the contract take exactly the amount you chose, and then for one transaction. In that transaction the contract sends 1% to the weekly pot, buys the stock with the other 99% through the official Uniswap router, and seals the result. Before you sign, the app quotes the price again; if it moves more than 0.5% before the purchase, the transaction stops and nothing is spent.
The fifteen stocks
Prices per share as quoted on Oct 4, 2026. The app always shows the live quote before you seal.
Sending the link
After sealing you get the link, a QR code and a printable card. Send the link the way you would send cash: to the person, in a private message. Whoever has the link can open the envelope. Don't post it, and don't put the QR code in a photo you share.
The links you create are kept in your browser if you allow it, so you can share them again from Sent and received.
